About Wholesome Living Acres

Hi, I’m Erin May — the farmer behind Wholesome Living Acres.

I’m a woman-owned indoor farmer in Central Minnesota, growing fresh, nutrient-dense greens year-round with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart. While my family often joins me along the way, this farm is led by my passion for growing better food and living well.

My journey into farming began over a decade ago, rooted in a personal focus on health and wellness and a desire to return to the simplicity of what a small farm can offer. Though I didn’t always have a green thumb, discovering indoor vertical growing changed everything. Growing indoors made it possible to produce consistent, high-quality greens — even through Minnesota winters — and allowed me to learn, adapt, and grow right alongside the plants.

As I experienced the taste, freshness, and nourishment of homegrown greens, the vision for Wholesome Living Acres naturally expanded beyond my own kitchen. What began as a personal journey became a way to serve my local community with clean, thoughtfully grown food.

At Wholesome Living Acres, the goal is simple: grow food with intention and share it in a way that supports wholesome living. Beyond growing greens, I care deeply about helping others understand where their food comes from and how small, intentional choices can make a meaningful difference in everyday health.

This farm is about more than produce — it’s about growing something good and sharing it well.
